WHAT IS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY?

Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 300,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. HFHI was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with his wife Linda.

MISSION STATEMENT

Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry working to eliminate poverty housing. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need of adequate shelter by providing safe, simple, affordable housing so that all God's children can live and grow into all that God intended.
