Since 1990, Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity builds simple, affordable homes with Habitat families and volunteers. We serve Black Hawk, Bremer and Butler Counties.

Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity focuses on home ownership as its solution to affordable housing. By offering no-interest mortgages and accepting sweat equity as a down payment we are able to offer affordable home ownership opportunities to families who would otherwise not qualify for a mortgage.

Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 500,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1,500,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent,  affordable shelter. Habitat for Humanity International has been building homes around the world since 1976.
